Thing 7: RSS Feeds

I have always wondered what RSS Feeds were used for. Who knew that they could bring the news right to you? RSS Feeds works well with a variety of platforms, whether you are more comfortable with MSN, Google, or Yahoo. Some of the sites that I went to gave me an option between the feed going to my igoogle homepage or my google reader account. It is fascinating to see how web 2.0 is connected to so many sites. It makes staying connected to the world outside so much easier.
